This is Gavin. He lives with my friend, Cindy. He’s been losing weight lately, and no one can figure out why. His blood work comes back normal, and everything else that can be checked also looks fine. He’s a great horse. If anyone knows why a horse might inexplicably lose weight, please let me know.

Mumbai Street
Spent the day mapping out routes, meeting with the limo company, and generally getting oriented. Saw this beauty in the street near where I stopped for a bite to eat. Holy cow.

Ducks seem to stick it out up here all year round. You can almost always find these guys bobbing along the river near our house somewhere if you keep an eye out for them.

Starting on April 1st, I am going to be participating in International Fake Journal Month. This is an annual project started by Roz Stendahl. The idea is to inhabit a life different from your own for one month and keep a fake journal about it. You can live in a different place or have a different occupation or be a different person altogether. The only restrictions are: (1) you have to date your entries in present time, and (2) the journal has to be a self-contained book (not just a section of your regular journal or sketchbook).
I haven’t nailed down all of the particulars yet, but I’ve decided to take my fake self to India! Among other things, I’m hoping to meet some camels. Stay tuned.
